Our Community

At Beehive Hill we are very aware of the impact the outdoors and nature has on our mental health and we want to encourage people within our local community to get outdoors and walk in the local countryside.

That’s why we set up our ‘walk and talk’ group. On the last Friday of the month, we meet at Beehive Hill and head out for an hours walk in our local countryside. Everyone is welcome, Mum’s, Dad’s, Grannie’s, babies, doggies. We enjoy a walk and looking at all the seasonal flowers and foliage and the beauty they have to offer, tips on foraging and spotting some beautiful birds too. Just the act of collecting some foraged finds and bringing them home to arrange them and admire them is therapy in itself!

Unexpected gifts are guaranteed to make anyone smile, and our lost bouquet is designed to do just that. Each month we will be leaving a beautiful bouquet with a 'love me and take me home' tag in a different place in Kenilworth to brighten up the day of the person who finds it. The lost bouquet is an act of kindness intended to spread some love and positivity, so far, we’ve received some lovely feedback from the finders, who’ve even passed it on to others in need. You will be able to see where the Lost Bouquet has been so far on our blog. We have been featured on BBC Coventry and Warwickshire Radio and they even came with us when we left our Christmas Lost Bouquet at Myton Hospice.
